The quality control inspector performs visual inspections of inbound purchased parts, raw material, in-process assemblies, final inspection, and product conformity, at predetermined inspection areas throughout the facility.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p><em>To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform the following essential duties satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned to address business needs and changing business practices.</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Accurately inspects and documents results of visual testing.</li>\n <li>Identifies, communicates, and records defects</li>\n <li>Verifies repairs and re-work have been completed and meet quality standards</li>\n <li>Reviews in-process documentation for accuracy and completion</li>\n <li>Monitors area of responsibility for parts identification, measuring and test gauge control, and correct lot information for in-process assemblies</li>\n <li>Works with outside inspectors as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p><em>The following generally describes requirements to successfully perform the assigned duties.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to keep accurate records in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Ability to accurately complete and document visual inspection</li>\n <li>Ability to follow written procedures</li>\n <li>Ability to work under minimal supervision</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively </li>\n <li>Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Outlook</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain NDT Certification within first year of employment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>1+ years manufacturing experience</li>\n <li>1+ years experience in quality assurance, welding, or coatings</li>\n <li>Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SmartSheet</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment and Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<p><em>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
