Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a <strong>Senior Software Engineer</strong> in <strong>Tysons, Virginia</strong>.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work with customer stakeholders, teammates, and project POCs to determine and prioritize need and nice to have requirements. </li>\n <li><p>Develop and unit test new software, support user acceptance testing when required, and support all operation and maintenance required for the application. </p></li>\n <li><p>Leading technical direction and requirements</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:   </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>10 or more years of software development experience</p></li>\n <li><p>Demonstrated experience leading and managing stakeholder expectations</p></li>\n <li><p>Significant expertise in application development with an emphasis on database development using Oracle PL/SQL</p></li>\n <li><p>Expert level web development skills to include both .Net and JAVA based applications</p></li>\n <li><p>Extensive Oracle-specific database and SQL experience </p></li>\n <li><p>Extensive Oracle tuning experience (e.g., analyzing plans, AWR reports, workload generation, index design, etc.)</p></li>\n <li><p>Application-level knowledge, such as debugging programs using ADO.NET or JDBC</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Experience in product development and work within a CM-based environment with formal release processes</p></li>\n <li><p>Agile development experience</p></li>\n <li><p>Comfortable speaking and leading meetings and work sessions</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What you can expect from us</h2>\n<p><em>BCore is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
