Be a part of the team that delivers excellence in national missile defense, human space flight, space launch, and combat rescue!</p>\n<p>#sofweek</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Designs and implements Windows and Linux server and workstation technologies in response to changing customer needs</li>\n <li>Implements enterprise-level services, with an emphasis on data base operations & data handling across Windows/Linux/VMWare systems, including but not limited to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Domain Services</li>\n   <li>SYSLOG</li>\n   <li>DHCP</li>\n   <li>AAA Services</li>\n   <li>WEF</li>\n   <li>SNMP</li>\n   <li>NTP</li>\n   <li>Automated Patching</li>\n   <li>SIEM Services</li>\n   <li>802.1x & 802.1x MAB</li>\n   <li>Inter-relation of DNS services across disparate authoritative zones</li>\n   <li>VMWare ESXi, vCenter, Horizon services – provisioning, system redundancy, performance, etc.</li>\n   <li>Automates system data processing according to overarching data management policies (e.g. archival/removal via triggered and/or scheduled event)</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Periodically generates scripts (bash/sh/CMD/Python/PowerShell/etc.) in support of specific use cases</li>\n <li>Identifies and resolves system faults including but not limited to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Domain controller replication faults</li>\n   <li>SQL database access faults, indexing faults, etc.</li>\n   <li>WSUS processing faults</li>\n   <li>NPS VSA-to-Device faults</li>\n   <li>NPS AAA lookup faults / policy mapping faults / template faults</li>\n   <li>init.d/systemd processing faults</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Hardens systems as appropriate, balancing customer Availability/Integrity/Confidentiality needs.</li>\n <li>Resolves IAVA/STIG findings as appropriate, providing proper documentation and/or justification to A&A personnel</li>\n <li>Conducts site surveys to determine feasibility of equipment installations (e.g. telecommunications, electrical, temperature/humidity, cleanliness, space/weight, maintainability, logistical support)</li>\n <li>Monitors overall system health and advises on need for potential upgrades or reconfigurations</li>\n <li>Provides on-site technical and operational support in the installation and operation of any/all telecommunications equipment</li>\n <li>Periodically reviews SIEM alerts as they relate to overall system status</li>\n <li>Performs troubleshooting of end user problems and responds to user requests.</li>\n <li>Mentors other IT personnel as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Experience/Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (5/7 years)</li>\n <li>Must meet DoD 8570 IAT II requirements</li>\n <li>Proven shell-scripting experience</li>\n <li>Expert understanding of Windows and/or Linux server technologies</li>\n <li>Competency with virtualization technologies</li>\n <li>Expert understanding of networking protocols</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Special Requirements/Security Clearance</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Active Secret Clearance</li>\n</ul>",
