Benefits may vary based on state law.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Job Overview</h2>\n<p>The Certified Medical Assistant functions in a role accountable for providing comprehensive, family-centered care to patients and families in the pediatric orthopedic Outpatient Department.  Shriners Spokane is looking for a PRN Certified Medical Assistant to join the team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Schedule: PRN</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The pay range for this position is $17.13-$25.38/hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists providers, nursing and other health care professionals with procedures and the intake and depart processes. </li>\n <li>Demonstrates skills necessary to assist with casting, splinting, and dressing application, removal and cleaning.</li>\n <li>Safely removes casts, cleans patient, covers affected limb and instructs family on skin care.</li>\n <li>Accurately documents information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)</li>\n <li>Responsible for prepping clinic to be prepared for that day's clinic to include monitoring supplies and equipment and ordering supplies</li>\n <li>Utilizes good clinical judgement to identify problems and interventions with patients and families and referral to RN as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This is not an all-inclusive list of this job's responsibilities.  The incumbent may be required to perform othre related duties and participate in special projects and assigned.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 3 months of hire</li>\n <li>American Association  of Medical Assistants (AAMA)</li>\n <li>Licensed in state of practice</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma / GED </li>\n <li>Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)</li>\n <li>Outpatient Clinic, Orthopaedic and cast background preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>",
