Retail Banking Specialists are part of a small, vital, hands-on team who provide exceptional frontline service and support to our current and prospective customers. In this essential role for Monet Bank (operating under the Beal Bank Texas charter), you will ensure all bank policies, procedures and regulatory compliance are adhered to on a daily basis through effective communications, strong product knowledge and a friendly, responsive approach. Rather than focus on sales goals, the Bank is known for our competitive rates, secure growth and great service.</p><p>This position is based at Monet Bank&rsquo;s Addison, TX location with working hours from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong> (Include but are not limited to):</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Process a variety of customer transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with bank policies, procedures and regulations, including the opening, servicing and closing of all account products (CDs, Money Market, Statement Savings and Retirement Accounts)</li><li>Required participation in Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) activities by volunteering during business hours with qualifying organizations, ensuring all mandatory monthly metrics for the branch are met</li><li>Conduct teller transactions such as cashing checks, processing deposits and withdrawals, issuing Monetary Instruments, placing stop payments, etc.</li><li>Enhance the overall customer satisfaction and the professional reputation of the Bank by warmly greeting, engaging and developing good professional relationships with customers</li><li>Perform opening, closing and other branch duties</li><li>Balance cash drawer and assist with cash vault balancing</li><li>Open and process incoming mail</li><li>Complete logs, reports and control checks while maintaining a neat and organized work area</li><li>Answer incoming phone calls, address customer questions and concern and escalate any problems or disputes to appropriate internal resources for resolution</li><li>Image documents and performing quality control checks</li><li>Practice branch security procedures and protect customer confidentiality and privacy</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications (Education, Experience, Computer Skills, Certifications, Etc.):</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Prior experience as a teller or new account representative preferred</li><li>Minimum 2-4 years customer service experience</li><li>High School diploma or equivalent required</li><li>Professional appearance and demeanor</li><li>Proficiency with 10 key touch, Microsoft Office and knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn banking software applications</li><li>Demonstrated good attendance and punctuality</li><li>Strong attention to detail with high concern for data accuracy</li><li>Customer service orientation with effective problem-solving and ability to maintain composure and a positive attitude when interacting with customers and team members</li><li>Outstanding listening and interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn banking products, services, policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines</li><li>Critical thinking and decision-making skills</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Self-motivated</li><li>Overnight and out of town travel is possible on occasion</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits options include:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Medical, dental and vision coverage</li><li>401K with company match</li><li>11 paid holidays&nbsp;</li><li>Accrue up to 17 vacation/sick days per year in your first year on a pro rata basis</li><li>Applicant may be eligible for annual discretionary bonus</li></ul><p>No relocation assistance provided.</p><p>If you are looking to be a part of a winning team and meet the above requirements, we look forward to hearing from you.&nbsp;</p><p>Monet Bank and their affiliates are Equal Opportunity Employers.
