As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated Mobile Building Engineer/HVAC Tech to join our dynamic team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>JOB HIGHLIGHT</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>A<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">BFS is looking for a proactive and experienced Mobile Building Engineer/HVAC Tech</span> to join our mobile facilities engineering team for our client account based in Cherry Hill, NJ. You will start each day in your driveway in your take-home truck and will find yourself working throughout central and southern New Jersey, Delaware, and the Philadelphia metropolitan area.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Maintenance and Repairs:</strong> Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.</li>\n<li><strong>Troubleshooting:</strong> Diagnose and resolve issues with building equipment and systems to minimize downtime and ensure occupant comfort and safety.</li>\n<li><strong>Emergency Response:</strong> Be available for emergency repairs and act as first responder to facility issues outside of regular hours, as required.</li>\n<li><strong>Documentation:</strong> Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, using our facility management software for reporting and tracking purposes.</li>\n<li><strong>Compliance:</strong> Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards and building codes.</li>\n<li><strong>Project Management:</strong> Coordinate and sometimes lead small to medium-sized renovation or upgrade projects within managed properties.</li>\n<li><strong>Client Interaction:</strong> Communicate effectively with property managers, tenants, and clients to address concerns and plan maintenance schedules.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Education:</strong>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree or trade school education in HVAC or a related field preferred</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><strong>Experience:</strong>\n<ul>\n<li>5 years in building maintenance or engineering, with at least 2 years in a mobile or multi-site role preferred, residential and commercial HVAC techs with at least 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply</li>\n<li>Experience with HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><strong>Licenses/Certifications:</strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.</li>\n<li>EPA Section 608 Technician Certification required</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><strong>Skills:</strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.</li>\n<li>Proficient in using facility management software.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li>\n<li>Capability to work in varied environments including confined spaces, heights, and outdoor conditions.</li>\n<li>Willingness to travel extensively within the region.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Type:</strong> Full-Time</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Salary:</strong> $40+/hr</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance</li>\n<li>Paid time off and holidays</li>\n<li>401k retirement plan with company match</li>\n<li>Continuous training and professional development opportunities</li>\n<li>Take-home company vehicle for work-related travel</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>WORKING FOR ABFS </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>ABFS promotes a culture committed to the growth of individuals through continuous learning, mentoring, and other career growth opportunities.
