This role ensures high accuracy in manufacturing documentation, drives efficiency and quality through data-driven decisions, supports New Product Introduction (NPI), and actively contributes to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure a safe, compliant workplace.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Major Duties and Requirements (focusing on assisting production manager and learning):&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Process Control, BOM &amp; Router Management (70%)</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Create, maintain, and continuously improve manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOM), routers, work instructions, specifications, and control plans in ERP systems</li><li>Ensure BOM accuracy within &lt;1% variation and router accuracy within &lt;5% variation through regular audits, validation, and cross-functional alignment</li><li>Own configuration control, including document control, revision management, and change traceability in compliance with ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems&nbsp;</li><li>Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO) to ensure timely and accurate implementation across BOMs, routers, SOPs, and specifications</li><li>Ensure manufacturing documentation (SOPs, specifications, work instructions) is accurate, controlled, and aligned with production execution</li><li>Identify and close gaps between defined standards and actual production processes to ensure repeatability and consistency</li><li>Provide hands-on support on the production floor to validate process adherence and resolve issues in real time</li><li>Train and audit operators and technicians to ensure compliance with BOM, routers, and SOPs</li><li>Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCCA) using data-driven methods (SPC, DOE)&nbsp;</li><li>Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, reduce scrap, and increase operational efficiency</li><li>Lead or support process innovation projects, including optimization of existing processes and development of new processes</li><li>Lead or support CAPEX projects including equipment selection, justification, installation, validation, and ramp-up&nbsp;</li><li>Support alignment of BOMs, routers, specifications, and processes across global sites (U.S., China, Vietnam)</li><li>Collaborate with cross-site teams to standardize best practices and ensure consistent implementation.</li><li>Support New Product Introduction (NPI) through defined stage-gate processes</li><li>Ensure all NPI documentation is accurate, complete, and released on time</li><li>Support cost reduction and risk mitigation initiatives through process optimization and material second source qualification</li><li>Support supplier process validation and technical assessments as required</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\"><strong>EHS Support &amp; Compliance (30%)</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Actively support and participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives</li><li>Support production management on regular Gemba walks, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions</li><li>Ensure manufacturing processes, equipment, and documentation comply with local, state, and federal EHS regulations</li><li>Lead continuous improvement of <strong>SOPs and Job Safety Analyses (JSA)</strong> to standardize safe work practices&nbsp;</li><li>Support EHS reporting, compliance documentation, and audit readiness</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\"><strong>Travel:&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Travel 5-10% mostly domestic</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Experience, Education Requirements, and Language Skills:&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s (or advanced) degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, or related field preferred)&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><strong>3&ndash;6 years of manufacturing/process engineering experience</strong>, preferably in composites or advanced materials&nbsp;</li><li>Strong experience in BOM, router management, and ERP systems&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as molding, lamination, assembly, or similar technologies&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with DOE, SPC, Lean manufacturing, and structured problem solving&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with CAPEX projects and process development preferred&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with multi-site manufacturing environments is a plus</li><li>Strong attention to detail with high documentation discipline&nbsp;</li><li>Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment&nbsp;</li><li>Strong ownership and accountability for process performance&nbsp;</li><li>Effective communication and collaboration across functions and global teams&nbsp;</li><li>Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement</li><li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and process documentation&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to write clear SOPs, specifications, and technical reports&nbsp;</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional and global coordination</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Compensation:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong>A competitive compensation package including base salary, potential for bonus based on performance, health insurance, and 401k will be available to the qualified applicant.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Salary Information</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">$89,873 &ndash;
