Fully understand the proper use of needed tools before utilizing.</li><li>Equipment: Do not work on equipment that is energized or unfamiliar. Especially the area where the work is centered.&nbsp;</li><li>Attend Safety Training: Work with the supervisor&nbsp; to know assigned training schedule; related to the work environment and its hazards. and know equipment safety guidelines.</li><li>Housekeeping: Ensure the shop/work area is clean and orderly when work is finished.</li></ul><strong>MAINTENANCE SHIFT START-UP / SHIFT END</strong><ul><li>Conduct Tech-to-Tech Handoff to:<ul><li>Review previous shift major occurrences</li><li>Learn the troubled equipment, not fully repaired</li><li>Understand activity completed to set up the next shift</li></ul></li><li>Attend Shift Huddle Meeting to:<ul><li>Learn the previous day’s performance</li><li>Review top 3 downtime reasons, previous day</li><li>Know the day’s priority work</li><li>Review planned work; ask questions</li></ul></li></ul><strong>WORK ORDER MANAGEMENT&nbsp;</strong><ul><li>Planned Work Orders: Review all planned Work Orders assigned, ask questions regarding any&nbsp; plan uncertainty that exists.</li><li>Close Work Order: Prior to leaving the worksite complete the Work Order with a Root Cause description, actual work performed&nbsp; description, parts used, and time applied.</li><li>Unplanned Work Orders: Respond to the emergency call, confirm the issue, complete the work.
