Casino & Hotel. By balancing accuracy, speed, and hospitality—even in a high‑volume environment—you help create a memorable and enjoyable visit for every guest who takes a seat at the bar.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Where You'll Make an Impact:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for setting up bars</li>\n <li>Responsible for handling all cash transactions.</li>\n <li>Responsible for all opening and closing inventories of all stock.</li>\n <li>Responsible to take orders from guests and servers and serving the orders accurately and in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Keep area in a clean and orderly manner.</li>\n <li>Monitor supply levels and assess stocking needs.</li>\n <li>Direct and observe bar back staff</li>\n <li>Responsible to have knowledge of guests limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.</li>\n <li>Ensure guests receive a favorable gaming experience.</li>\n <li>Consistently maintain appearance standards, as established.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of alcoholic beverages, liquors, wines, beers and ales; portray an “ask me” image with knowledge.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of all bar equipment, Easy Bar System, ABC laws and regulations and gaming laws; knowledge of bar operations</li>\n <li>Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills to Help You Succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to “upsell” and recommend products to guests.</li>\n <li>Ability to perform, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.</li>\n <li>Ability to speak, read, write and understand basic instructions in English.</li>\n <li>Ability to make change from sales; reconcile and balance sales at the conclusion of the shift.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate ability to entertain bar guests within socially-appropriate standards.</li>\n <li>Able to effectively handle situations that may arise due to intoxication.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate with all departments and other team members</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Must-Haves:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. Completion of professional bartending training desired.  Mixology training a plus.</li>\n <li>At least six (6) months to one (1) year experience as a bartender in a high volume operation.</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by MLGCA or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to stand and walk for the duration of shift</li>\n <li>Ability to perform assigned job duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures</li>\n <li>Ability to handle multi-tasking heavy work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects</li>\n <li>Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels</li>\n <li>Ability to regularly utilize sufficient vision or other powers of observation to review documents and computer screens and organize documents and materials.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees</li>\n <li>Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.</li>\n <li>You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Please note that this is a union position, and individuals in this role may be required to pay applicable union dues and fees.</p>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p><strong>Perks We Offer You</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive group health benefits for full-time and part-time Team Members and their eligible dependents.
