The Electrical Estimator reports directly to the Senior Project Manager or Project Manager.  Responsibilities are focused on cost estimates, material, and labor requirements estimates to complete a project.    </p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop cost estimates from the take‐off stage to bid hand‐off  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Work with ConEst Estimating Software </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop cost estimates for change orders </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Analyze material and labor requirements to complete a project  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Attend pre‐bid and scope review meetings   </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Compute and submit bids </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Read & thoroughly understand blueprints </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform fully on-screen electronic takeoffs and markups </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Meet with engineers, customers, vendors, and Project Managers  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Visually inspect project locations to determine the amount of labor and materials needed to do the work </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Contact vendors for pricing   </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Assess the costs of leasing equipment.   </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain the change order submissions/documents in an organized and standardized manner. Work with the project team to develop this standard. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Analyze material and labor requirements to complete a project </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Attend pre-bid and scope review meetings </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><em>REQUIRED:</em> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>6-8 years of experience with a High School Diploma, 4-6 years of experience with an Associate degree, or 0-2 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong computer, Bluebeam, ConEst, and Microsoft Suite skills </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Low Voltage Systems.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Read and evaluate specifications and blueprints. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Deal effectively with customers.   </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Analyze risks involved with certain project types.   </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Estimate large and small projects.   </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Work calmly under deadlines and external pressure.   </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent math skills.   </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong communication skills.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
