This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys interested in gaining experience in general civil litigation, particularly in cases involving medical negligence, and general tort liability.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct thorough research, analysis, and interpretation of legal sources such as statutes, regulations, ordinances, court decisions, and legal opinions</li><li>Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery</li><li>Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies</li><li>Maintain excellent client communication and service</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Good standing with the Illinois bar</li><li>Strong writing, research, and analytical skills</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience. &nbsp;Medical Malpractice experience preferred but not required.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Deposition experience required.</li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Competitive Compensation:</strong> Associate attorney eligible <u>total</u> compensation ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, with the potential for annual performance-based raises and discretionary bonuses.
