(GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients.  LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Edison, NJ.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design and develop electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for commercial, industrial, municipal and healthcare facilities.</li>\n <li>Conduct site visits, inspections, field surveys to support design and construction phases.</li>\n <li>Preparation of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams and load calculations.</li>\n <li>Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and other team members.</li>\n <li>Review of submittals and RFIs during construction administration</li>\n <li>Serve as Project Engineer and Project Manager on smaller, less complex projects</li>\n <li>Use engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work (i.e. Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD)</li>\n <li>Capable of leading a team of engineers and working independently with little guidance.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.</li>\n <li>Min 7 years of relevant electrical design experience.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA, IEEE).</li>\n <li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software.</li>\n <li><strong>Professional Engineering (PE) license required</strong></li>\n <li>Strong communication and organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Commissioning experience a plus</li>\n <li><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></li>\n <li>Ability to work independently with general instructions/guidance from senior engineers to produce the expected results </li>\n <li>Experience with sustainable design and LEED-certified projects</li>\n <li>Self-motivated with the ability to multitask to meet specific project deadlines</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Our Culture:</strong></p>\n<p>We believe in the power of collaboration.
