Responsible for providing efficient service to all slot guests and ensures slot machines are monitored and repaired on a continual basis for full capacity operation.</p>\n<p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Promote and maintain all steps in the customer service program with each patron and employee you may come in contact with.</li>\n <li>Perform preventative maintenance: clean, inspect, adjust, and test various machine parts.</li>\n <li>Perform floor maintenance: trouble shoot and repair machine malfunction problems as they occur during gaming.</li>\n <li>Assist floor supervisors with malfunctions and answer floor calls.</li>\n <li>Answer floor calls excluding jackpots when business dictates.</li>\n <li>Ensures that slot machines are filled with ticket paper to keep machines in constant operation.</li>\n <li>Assist customers with questions and complaints regarding slot machines. Provide answers and explanations and rectify problems as appropriate.</li>\n <li>Work on special projects as assigned. Assist with every phase, from layout to installation.</li>\n <li>Must work well under pressure and meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines.</li>\n <li>Maintains knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, compact, etc.) and attendant regulations, as well as property internal controls, policies and procedures. </li>\n <li>Brings disputes and unusual guest activities to the attention of the shift manager. </li>\n <li>Must be knowledgeable of all special events and promotional activities available to guests.</li>\n <li>Presents oneself as a credit to the Company and encourages others to do the same.</li>\n <li>Must work well under pressure and meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines.</li>\n <li>Must always demonstrate ethical and cooperative behavior with guests, co-workers and supervisors.</li>\n <li>Adhere to all departments/company policies and procedures. </li>\n <li>Performs other duties as may be assigned by department and/or company management.</li>\n <li>Follow all cleaning, sanitation and PPE position specific guidelines.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Supervisory Responsibilites:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position has no supervisory responsibilities. </p>\n<h2>BRING US YOUR BEST.</h2>\n<p>Qualifications </p>\n<p>To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.</li>\n <li>Must qualify for licensing with the New Mexico Racing & Gaming Commissions.</li>\n <li>High School diploma or G.E.D preferred.  </li>\n <li>Six months to one year experience in electronics and maintenance of technical equipment, game machines, or slot machines preferred.</li>\n <li>Ability to work varying schedule to include: all shifts, days and holidays</li>\n <li>Good oral and written communication skills, must be fluent and literate in English.  Bilingual in Spanish preferred.  </li>\n <li>Must have a good working knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of New Mexico gaming laws and regulations as well as the Penn National Gaming’s internal controls, policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Work in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests and vendors.</li>\n <li>Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality.</li>\n <li>Ability to work as part of a team and to promote cooperative approach between departments.</li>\n <li>Ability to work unsupervised.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
