This position is responsible for maintaining and providing routine scheduled cleaning as well as quality cleaning in and outdoors.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>For information on Y Employee Perks, click on this link: Employee Benefits | YMCA of San Diego County (ymcasd.org)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Schedule</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Location: Jackie Robinson Family YMCA</li>\n <li>Available shift times:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Monday - Friday: 6 pm -11:30 pm</li>\n   <li>Weekends 12 pm - 6 pm</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform all scheduled janitorial tasks throughout all buildings</li>\n <li>Perform detailed janitorial tasks during closing hours one evening per month</li>\n <li>Ensure all restroom dispensers are adequately stocked at all times</li>\n <li>Perform daily trash pick-up throughout the facility</li>\n <li>Provide courteous and helpful service to guests at all times</li>\n <li>Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency</li>\n <li>Physical ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of building repairs such as painting wall patching, striping, and buffing floors and minor plumbing repairs</li>\n <li>Must be able to stand for long periods of time and drive a small utility cart</li>\n <li>Licensing, state law and our government funders require that staff within YMCA of San Diego County be fingerprinted, prior to reporting to work, and include subsequent arrest notifications</li>\n <li>CPR/AED, and First Aid Certification, must include Adult and Child/Infant, obtained within 30 days of hire and must be from one of the following certifying organizations:o American Red Crosso American Heart Associationo American Safety & Health Institute</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>YMCA will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history pursuant to the San Diego County Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act. You do not need to disclose your criminal history or participate in a background check until a conditional job offer is made to you.
