    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are looking for a highly organized, dependable, and personable individual to join a senior mortgage loan officer’s team as a <strong>Loan Officer Assistant / Customer Support & Processing Trainee</strong>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is an entry-level, training-focused position for someone who wants to learn the mortgage business from the ground up. Mortgage experience is helpful but <strong>not required</strong>. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay organized while managing multiple borrower files and follow-up items.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role will support the borrower, loan officer, processor, and loan file from the beginning of the mortgage process through closing.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist the producing loan officer or manager with daily operations and client communications.</li>\n <li>Respond to inquiries from customers, builders, and realtors during the application and processing phases.</li>\n <li>Complete and review loan applications for accuracy and completeness.</li>\n <li>Track mortgage loans through closing and provide updates to clients regarding file status and underwriting requirements.</li>\n <li>Perform administrative and clerical duties to support the loan process.</li>\n <li>Utilize internal CRM system (Total Expert) to manage client interactions and documentation.</li>\n <li>Set up files during the prequalification stage and help identify suitable loan products for each client.</li>\n <li>Order appraisals and title work as needed.</li>\n <li>Submit completed loan application files for underwriting approval.</li>\n <li>Follow up on outstanding underwriting conditions or documentation.</li>\n <li>Deliver excellent internal and external customer service throughout the loan process.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in mortgage lending or bank operations is preferred but not required.</li>\n <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent problem-solving abilities and computer proficiency.</li>\n <li>A background in finance would be strongly desired.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>EEO/AA/M/F/Veteran/Disability</strong></p>",
