This hands-on role requires a proactive problem-solver who can work independently, communicate effectively, and uphold high standards of safety and efficiency.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br>Electrical Maintenance & Repair</strong><ul><li>Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems</li><li>Identify MHE problems and work with operators to ensure the vendor is contacted to do the repair</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize operational downtime.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes and safety standards.</li><li>Maintain lighting systems, including LED fixtures, and perform basic building maintenance.</li><li>Manage battery watering, sweeper/scrubber upkeep, and vendor coordination for rentals and fleet augmentation.</li></ul><strong>Technical Support & Problem Solving</strong><ul><li>Able to identify problems associated with MHE.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to escalate issues and manage spare parts.</li><li>Document findings and communicate resolutions clearly to stakeholders.</li><li>Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.</li></ul><strong>Qualifications & Skills</strong><ul><li>Valid Ontario Electrician License (309A or 442A).</li><li>2–4 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a warehouse or distribution centre.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Effective communication skills and a commitment to health and safety.</li><li>Ability to work independently and take ownership of electrical systems.</li><li>Familiarity with working in a fast-paced 3PL industry is an asset.</li><li>Additional assets: PLC knowledge, Microsoft Office proficiency, completed apprenticeship, JHSC certification.</li></ul><strong>Additional Requirements</strong><ul><li>Day shift and afternoon shift open position</li><li>On-call availability on the weekends and must have a valid driver’s license.</li><li>Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting up to 25 lbs and repetitive motion.</li><li>Comfortable working at heights</li><li>MHE license & scissor lift license an asset</li><li>Experience working with conveyor, control systems</li></ul><em>*This is a new position introduced to support current business requirements.<br>Salary Range: $80,000–$100,000 a year / The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.</em><p><span style=\"font-size:10px;\">National Logistics Services (NLS) is Canada’s leading retail logistics provider for global lifestyle brands, including apparel, footwear, accessories, and sporting goods.
