They ensure operations run smoothly and safely by performing a variety of skilled mechanical, electrical, and plumbing tasks.</p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>Install, troubleshoot, and repair production machines and facility equipment.</li><li>Conduct emergency and scheduled maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime.</li><li>Perform mechanical duties including machining, welding, and using hand/power tools.</li><li>Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks.</li><li>Diagnose issues, replace parts, and make adjustments to ensure equipment efficiency.</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities.</li><li>Maintain plumbing and carpentry systems as needed.</li><li>Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.</li><li>Coordinate with external technicians for complex repairs.</li><li>Document maintenance activities and communicate with supervisors on equipment status.</li></ul><p><strong>Competencies:</strong></p><ul><li>Technical proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and industrial systems.</li><li>Ethical conduct and adherence to safety protocols.</li><li>Strong communication skills.</li><li>Results-driven with a proactive approach to maintenance problem-solving.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment:&nbsp;</strong>The role involves exposure to fumes, moving parts, and noise, requiring physical activity such as standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects.</p><p><strong>Physical Demands:&nbsp;</strong>Requires frequent physical exertion including lifting items over 75 pounds and performing various manual tasks.
