The Controls Solutions Engineer is responsible for representing the controls department on construction, retrofit, service projects and supporting the overall success of the department.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Provide support for all complex solutions including retrofit, installation and service work for Metasys/Facility Explorer and Tridium BAS’s.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Troubleshoot Metasys/FX and Tridium building control systems.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Program HVAC Metasys/FX/Tridium control systems</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Survey job information provided to determine the most suitable solution.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Work with clients to determine what best fits their needs.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Work with client IT departments to ensure access and security.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Other duties as assigned by supervisors or as necessary to support the project, project managers, service calls and customers.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Provide 24/7 support to construction project managers, field foremen and engineers.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Assist with unique control applications, provide literature, and remote technical support when required.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Maintain remote access to BAS during project.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Participate in after hours on-call.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Supervisory /Budgetary / External Communication Responsibility</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>This is an individual contributing role</span></li>\n<li>Must be able to influence both internal and external individuals included GCs and owners.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Must haves </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">in-depth knowledge of various HVAC products, Metasys/FX BAS systems, electronics and IOS.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Mechanical aptitude</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Integrity and ability to promote a positive company image.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Results driven in a high-energy environment.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Ability to read and understand complex building architectural, mechanical and electrical documents.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, both with internal and external customers.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Integrity and ability to promote a positive company image.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">Attention to detail.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Prior work experience and educational requirements<br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of experience in the controls industry supporting FX/Tridium systems.</li>\n<li>Physical Demands The physical demands are those associated with working in a typical jobsite environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Physical Demands The physical demands are those associated with working in a typical jobsite environment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>NOTE:  This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
