Our community is strong because of this.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Position Summary&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This position offers foundational clinical guidance to early-stage graduate students in the PsyD program by providing weekly individual supervision for students completing their 500-hour pre-externship experience. The supervisor will collaborate with on-site supervisors at established community partner sites and PsyD program faculty to ensure high-quality clinical training that is aligned with program and accreditation standards.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Essential Functions:</u></strong> Job duties that must be performed, with or without reasonable accommodation, and may include any of the following tasks, knowledge, skills, and other characteristics. This position description is illustrative and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by incumbents in this position.&nbsp;</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Direct Supervision: Provide one hour of direct, individual clinical supervision per week for each assigned student.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Administrative Oversight: Complete essential administrative tasks, including:<ul><li>Reviewing and signing off on student clinical documentation.</li><li>Maintaining supervisor-specific documentation and records.</li><li>Reviewing student session recordings to provide actionable feedback.</li><li>Completing and submitting formal student evaluations.</li></ul></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Developmental Mentorship: Support students who are new to clinical work in a tailored, supportive environment, ensuring they develop the foundational skills necessary to progress to the externship experience.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordination of Training: Establish regular, ongoing communication with each student&rsquo;s site supervisor and pre-externship course instructor. Coordinate with the Director of Clinical Training as necessary.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>General Expectations:</u></strong> Employees are expected to accomplish assigned duties in an efficient, effective, and competent manner and to strive for improvement and excellence in all work performed. The area is well-lit, temperature-controlled, and free from hazards. Manual dexterity is needed in order to operate a computer keyboard.
