UW Health,&nbsp;UnityPoint Health – Meriter&nbsp;and&nbsp;Lifepoint Rehabilitation, an operating division of Lifepoint Health, have begun construction on a second free-standing inpatient rehabilitation hospital. The new 58,000-square-foot facility joins our existing 50-bed&nbsp;inpatient rehabilitation hospital in eastern Madison&nbsp;that has served patients since September 2015. Work on the new hospital is expected to be completed in early 2027.<br>&nbsp;</p><p>We are seeking a <strong>Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant</strong> to:</p><ul><li>Help manage patients in our 40 bed Acute Rehabilitation Hospital.</li><li>Perform inpatient rounding.</li><li>Assist with admission and discharge of hospital inpatients.</li><li>Assist with coordination of care with consulting and referring providers.</li><li>Work as part of a team providing consultative services at the request of the Rehabilitation Physicians.<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><a href=\"https://www.uwhealth.org/news/uw-health-partners-break-ground-new-rehabilitation-hospital-fitchburg\"><span style=\"background-color: white; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Click here to learn more about the new hospital</span></span></a><span style=\"background-color: white; color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">.</span></span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Education:</u></strong><br>Minimum –</p><ul><li><strong>If Nurse Practitioner:</strong> Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program</li><li><strong>If Physician Assistant: </strong>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program</li></ul><p><strong><u>Licenses and Certifications:</u></strong><br>Minimum –<br><strong>If Nurse Practitioner:</strong></p><ul><li>Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND</li><li>Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice.
