To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each core responsibility satisfactorily.</span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\">&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><strong><u><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\">Core Responsibilities</span></u></strong></span></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\">Perform a dimensional and visual inspection of shop fabrication, which includes final paint inspections, weld preparations and final welds.</span></span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\">Responsible for fabricated materials conforming to drawings, shop standards, specifications and applicable codes. - - Record and maintain in-process and final inspection records for quality assurance and production control.</span></span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\">Identify and remedy drawing discrepancies with detailers.</span></span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\">Coordinates with customers&#39; inspectors during inspection phases.</span></span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\">Inform foremen of defects in fabrication.</span></span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\"><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\">Assists shop personnel with the interpretation of codes, drawings and specifications</span></span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\"><strong><u>Education/Training - Work Experience</u></strong></span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\">High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of related experience.</span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\">Completion of a verifiable vocational or training program may substitute for one (1) year of experience.</span></span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\">Current or prior CAWI, AWS-CWI, SCWI, or CWB in accordance with CSA W178.2 preferred or an individual with training or experience or both in metals fabrication, inspection and testing who is competent to perform the work.</span></span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\"><strong><u>Specialized Knowledge &ndash; Certificates &amp; Licenses</u></strong></span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\">As outlined in the Core Competencies, an individual must have thorough knowledge and an advanced understanding of each competency outlined above in order to carry out the essential functions of this position.&nbsp; Ability to read and interpret documents such as Structural Steel Blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.</span></span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;\"><u>Equipment/Tools Knowledge &amp;
