General Summary Indiana Tech is seeking for Adjunct Faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences to teach undergraduate algebra and calculus-based Physics courses. This is an on-site teaching job. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Teach in accordance with course competencies and syllabi, calculus or algebra-based physics, or related course(s). Provide an engaging learning environment for all students. Engage with students to promote learning Support Indiana Tech Mission and Values Qualifications Master’s degree in Physics; Doctorate preferred. All candidates are required to have experience in algebra and calculus-based physics Have a student-centered focus and a strong interest in working with students. Candidate must be willing to teach in person classes in the traditional day school at Fort Wayne Campus In person and online teaching experience preferred Qualified candidates should be strongly committed to excellence in teaching and working collegially and collaboratively in a multicultural environment that embraces diversity. A strong commitment to higher education, in general, is expected. Working Conditions Work is normally performed in a typical classroom environment. A resume and cover letter is required in the application process. Applicants should demonstrate a capacity for high quality teaching. Applicants should be able to use technology effectively in all aspects of their work, including teaching, and must be able to legally work in the U.S.. Learn more at&nbsp;Indiana&nbsp;Tech Strategic Plan&nbsp;or&nbsp;strategicplan.indianatech.edu.\\n\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nGeneral Summary\\n\\nIndiana Tech is seeking for Adjunct Faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences to teach undergraduate algebra and calculus-based Physics courses.&nbsp; This is an on-site teaching job.&nbsp;\\n\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nEssential Duties &amp; Responsibilities\\n\\n\\n\\tTeach in accordance with course competencies and syllabi, calculus or algebra-based physics, or related course(s). \\n\\tProvide an engaging learning environment for all students.\\n\\tEngage with students to promote learning\\n\\tSupport Indiana Tech Mission and Values\\n\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nQualifications\\n\\n\\n\\tMaster&rsquo;s degree in Physics; Doctorate preferred. \\n\\tAll candidates are required to have experience in algebra and calculus-based physics\\n\\tHave a student-centered focus and a strong interest in working with students.\\n\\tCandidate must be willing to teach in person classes in the traditional day school at Fort Wayne Campus\\n\\tIn person and online teaching experience preferred\\n\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nQualified candidates should be strongly committed to excellence in teaching and working collegially and collaboratively in a multicultural environment that embraces diversity.
