This role performs hands-on work across new store builds, remodel projects, site work, fuel system installations, equipment installations, and facility upgrades to ensure projects meet Company standards for safety, functionality, and quality.</p><p>The Construction Technician works closely with the Project Manager, contractors, and internal teams to complete projects safely, efficiently, and within established timelines and budgets.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></u></p><p><br></p><p><strong>1. Construction &amp; Store Development</strong></p><ul><li>Assists with construction, remodel, and maintenance projects at new and existing project sites.</li><li>Performs general construction tasks including carpentry, drywall repair, painting, flooring installation and repair, fixture installation, and finish work.</li><li>Performs demolition activities for existing structures and fuel systems.</li><li>Performs site work activities including utility installation, grading functions, and paving.</li><li>Performs all aspects of fuel system installations.</li><li>Performs concrete work including demolition and installation of paving and footers.</li><li>Assists with site preparation activities including demolition, material staging, and job site organization.</li><li>Works alongside contractors to install exterior components including signage, bollards, fueling canopies, and site furnishings.</li><li>Assists with punch list completion.</li><li>Ensures Company standards and construction specifications are maintained across all projects.</li></ul><p><strong>2. Facility</strong></p><ul><li>Installs and replaces lighting, doors, ceiling systems, and interior finishes.</li><li>Performs plumbing and electrical work within scope of training and licensing requirements.</li><li>Coordinates equipment deliveries and verifies materials received match project requirements.</li><li>Troubleshoots and performs repairs to construction-related issues identified during or after project completion.</li></ul><p><strong>3. Project Execution &amp; Field Operations</strong></p><ul><li>Travels to assigned store locations to perform construction and repair work as scheduled.</li><li>Works closely with Project Manager, Facilities team, and contractors to complete assigned tasks.</li><li>Maintains project timelines by completing assigned work efficiently and communicating delays or issues promptly.</li><li>Reads and follows work orders, construction drawings, layouts, and installation instructions.</li><li>Maintains clean, safe, and organized job sites to minimize disruption to store operations.</li><li>Assists contractors and vendors to ensure adherence to Company standards and scope requirements.</li><li>Participates in store walkthroughs before and after construction activities.</li></ul><p><strong>4. Safety &amp; Compliance</strong></p><ul><li>Follows all Company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and construction site safety procedures.</li><li>Properly uses personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.</li><li>Identifies and reports unsafe conditions, hazards, or code compliance concerns.</li><li>Ensures tools and equipment are operated safely and maintained in proper working condition.</li><li>Completes safety inspections and corrective actions as directed.</li></ul><p><strong>5.
