Together, the university’s community of doers, makers, healers, and innovators empowers graduates to change the world, solve 21st-century challenges, and reinvent the future.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>For more information, visit nyit.edu.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Teach undergraduate and/or graduate-level finance courses in alignment with program goals and institutional standards.</p></li>\n <li>Develop and deliver engaging lectures, class discussions, case studies, and relevant assignments that align with course objectives and learning outcomes.</li>\n <li>Provide timely, constructive feedback and academic guidance to support student learning, engagement, and skill development.</li>\n <li>Create, administer, and grade assessments fairly and efficiently, including exams, quizzes, presentations, and projects.</li>\n <li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of finance principles, regulatory changes, and best practices.</li>\n <li>Utilize learning management systems (e.g., Canvas) for course delivery, communication, grading, and material sharing.</li>\n <li>Foster an inclusive and respectful learning environment that encourages participation, critical thinking, and professional growth.</li>\n <li>Be available to students during scheduled office hours or by appointment for academic advising, support, and mentorship.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with program directors and departmental faculty to continuously improve curriculum, assessments, and student learning outcomes.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and academic integrity guidelines.</li>\n <li>Attend and participate in faculty meetings, orientation sessions, training workshops, or department planning as required.</li>\n <li>Engage in professional development to stay current in the finance field and higher education instruction.</li>\n <li>Support assessment and accreditation activities by maintaining accurate records and submitting required reports or materials</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Master of Business Administration (MBA) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution. </p>\n<p>Flexible availability, with the ability to teach during daytime hours. </p>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications: </p>\n<p>Prior teaching experience. </p>\n<p>Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFTP, CFA, CBP, CISA,) are preferred.</p>\n<h2>Other Information</h2>\n<p><em>New York Institute of Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer – </em><em>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In compliance with local legislation as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, the annual base salary range for this position is listed.
