The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all “preventive” maintenance and “preventive” inspections, greasing, lubrication and emergency repairs of all plant electrical, hydraulic and mechanical components. Maintains all facilities, buildings and mobile equipment.</div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Benefits</strong></div><div><div><ul><li>Competitive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Prescription, 401(K) with 3% Employer Contribution, Long- and Short-term Disability</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement for qualified skilled trade programs</li><li>Student Loan Repayment Program</li><li>Employee Referral Program</li></ul></div></div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Responsibilities</strong></div><div>The Maintenance Technician:</div><div><ul><li>Carries out routine inspections of all equipment and lubricants and repairs as necessary.</li><li>Repair problems in equipment operation and notifies maintenance manager as necessary.</li><li>Sets work priorities in conjunction with Maintenance and Operations Manager to maximize operations.</li><li>Performs maintenance activities under the direction of the Maintenance Department.</li><li>Keeps accurate records of repairs carried out or required maintenance issues.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Advises maintenance of parts consumed or repaired.&nbsp; Orders any and all parts consumed and needed by requisition form.&nbsp;</li><li>Re-build/repair any and all equipment</li><li>Carries out repairs of equipment removed from key components such as; torches, grinding wheels, hydraulic pumps, cylinders.</li><li>Carries out good housekeeping so that, work areas, all equipment, all hydraulic/electrical systems and plant facility are clean.</li><li>Environmental cleanup and awareness.</li></ul></div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Skills</strong></div><div>The ideal candidate will have:</div><div><ul><li>Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical and electrical components on heavy equipment.</li><li>Strong electrical knowledge and ability</li><li>Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical/hydraulic schematics.</li><li>Knowledge of automation systems</li><li>Knowledge of DC operated cranes essential.&nbsp; Electrical/mechanical/structural</li><li>Completely conversant in safety procedures for working with electrical/mechanical and hydraulic equipment including high voltage.</li><li>Conversant with all forms of hydraulics</li><li>A minimum of 5 years experience working in a heavy industrial environment.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>To Apply</strong></div><div>Please submit a resume.
