Beyond healthcare, our Raleigh office also features dedicated MEPS design teams focused on higher education, K-12 schools, infrastructure, and more.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As our project backlog continues to grow, we are seeking a <strong>Senior Electrical Engineer </strong>to join our <strong>Healthcare Electrical Department in Raleigh, NC. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In this pivotal role, you will provide essential technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers while collaborating closely with Project and Client Managers to ensure client expectations and budgetary goals are met. You will work alongside a diverse team of engineers on a wide range of healthcare projects, partnering with architectural, mechanical, structural, and other disciplines to deliver comprehensive, innovative solutions to our local and regional clients. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring that all electrical requirements are met, enabling us to fulfill our commitments with excellence. Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call “Dewberry at Work,” that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Senior Electrical Engineer would be expected to provide the following to others on the design team to effectively and successfully complete projects:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Technical guidance and quality oversight, including code review, of all project work involving electrical engineering.</li>\n   <li>Technical training and development of staff.</li>\n   <li>Assist in establishing and improving standards, practices, guidelines, and specifications for electrical discipline area.</li>\n   <li>Engineer of Record.</li>\n   <li>Provide 'on-the-spot' advice and decisions - technical and cost estimates.</li>\n   <li>Coordination with all the disciplines involved, including outside consultants.</li>\n   <li>Technical interface with code officials and contractors.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Skills & Required Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Accomplished professional electrical engineer (PE). Existing licensure in NC is preferred.</strong></li>\n   <li><strong>Minimum 10 years of progressive technical experience in the design of normal and essential power distribution, lighting, life safety, and telecommunications systems on large and small, complex, healthcare projects. </strong></li>\n   <li><strong>Experience should include technical oversight of multiple projects with proven success providing technical oversight on projects that meet contract specifications and technical standards to the client on time and within budget. </strong></li>\n   <li>Self-motivated with highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills.</li>\n   <li>Well organized, takes good notes.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Do not meet every single requirement?
