          "text": "<p>The&#xa0;<strong>Environmental, Health and Safety Manager</strong>&#xa0;interfaces and interacts with NA Environmental Department and the Health and Safety Department personnel to ensure consistent knowledge, implementation and execution of regional EH&amp;S policies, procedures and strategies. Position is responsible for advising site management regarding the establishment of EH&amp;S objectives, plan activities to achieve those objectives, and integrate EH&amp;S into the site culture. This position plans and promotes all phases of the plant environmental, health &amp; safety program.</p><p><strong>The Environmental, Health &amp; Safety Manager will:</strong></p><ul><li>Plan, promote, and follow-up on all phases of the plant safety program and drive the safety culture.</li><li>Create and develop new methods and strategies to help engage employees in safety culture.</li><li>Maintain accurate and complete records that meet regulatory requirements, including but not limited to:<ul><li>Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA)</li><li>Department of Transportation (DOT)</li><li>Clean Air Act (CAA)</li><li>Clean Water Act (CWA)</li><li>Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA)</li><li>Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA)</li><li>All applicable local and state regulatory requirements</li></ul></li><li>Anticipate, identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices through work site knowledge, employee interactions, and work site inspection, and control exposures to occupational health hazards.</li><li>Conduct mandated employee health and safety training programs.</li><li>Participate in state and federal OSHA inspections.&#xa0;</li><li>Act as the site contact for Worker’s Compensation issues.</li><li>Conduct applicable facility environmental training including: Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC).&#xa0;</li></ul><p><strong>The Environmental, Health &amp; Safety Manager should have:</strong></p><ul><li>High energy with the ability to motivate people and drive the safety culture.</li></ul><ul><li>Experience leading, planning, and promoting all phases of the plant safety program.</li><li>Experience developing and delivering training</li><li>Experience with air permitting</li><li>Be able to implement, administer and advise others on hazard controls and hazard control programs.</li><li>The skills to coordinate the plant accident and investigation program, including the maintenance of required OSHA reports.</li><li>The ability to assist Regional EH&amp;S staff in the quantification, evaluation and control of employee exposure to potential occupational health hazards</li><li>A collaborative approach to leadership and a willingness to actively participate on the floor</li></ul>",
