This position acts as a management representative in interpreting company policy, procedures and enforcing all company rules and safety regulations. The Production Supervisor strives to achieve company goals in manufacturing while working with other members of the production team.&nbsp;</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:13px;font-family:\"Courier New\";'><strong><span style='font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'>&nbsp;</span></strong></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:13px;font-family:\"Courier New\";'><strong><span style='font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: &nbsp;</span></strong></p><ol style=\"list-style-type: undefined;margin-left:-0.25in;\"><li><span style='font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'>Responsible for plant personnel in an emergency situation such as; emergency sirens for fire or tornado activation and testing, medical emergencies requiring EMS, weather emergencies, CPR and first aid.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'>Establishes or adjusts work schedule to meet production requirement using knowledge of capacities of machines/equipment and available manpower.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'>Cooperates with staff, sales, and scheduling to achieve desired quality and production goals.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'>Responsible for the control of quality of batteries produced, scrap loss, and defect reduction.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style='font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'>Analyzes work problems and recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, working conditions and equipment usage to increase efficiency.
