How You’ll Make an Impact Dudek is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in the Pacific Region. This full-time, hybrid role is critical to the smooth daily operation of the Pacific Region, supporting both office and field teams with a wide range of safety-related tasks, duties and projects as needed. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, a strong communicator, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. This position will interact with Dudek management, field staff, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team members, and Firmwide Services staff, and will play a key role in advancing Dudek’s safety culture. This role will primarily support the Pacific Region’s biological resources group with the potential to expand to other teams. Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate with Project Managers, Field teams and EHS to develop and implement site-specific health and safety documentation. Coordinate with scheduling and operations teams to ensure field staff are informed of safety requirements and prepared for field activities Conduct daily review of safety tailgate forms and follow up with staff as needed to address PPE needs or non-compliance; Assist with the preparation of the Biology Team’s safety form program and refinement of safety training and tracking process; Assist field-based employees with acquiring safety supplies (PPE) including supplies associated with Dudek’s vehicle fleet; Create and edit administrative documents, including letters, memos, spreadsheets, and reports; Perform various data entry tasks and ensure accurate record keeping; Assist with new hire safety onboarding; Assists with As Needed employee safety communication and training/tracking; Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information; Assist with maintaining a welcoming and professional environment for all; Perform other safety-focused duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, archaeology, landscape architecture, hydrology, safety or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years of professional work experience; Experience working in the field/outdoor environment and knowledge of execution of fieldwork in the environmental/engineering/public works industry; Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Self-starter with the ability to work independently or collaboratively; Demonstrates reliable attendance and punctuality, consistently arrives on time and prepared; Experience supporting multiple areas or departments; Knowledge of office and facilities management best practices. Must possess a valid driver's license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment Preferred Qualifications Experience in a professional services or engineering/environmental consulting firm. Experience with ArcGIS Survey123 Compensation: $30.00/hourly* *Final agreed-upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location. Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check prior to beginning employment. Working Conditions This job operates in a remote or office-based environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc. This job requires occasional project site visits, based outdoors which can include excessive noise, uneven walking surfaces, extreme weather, and moving vehicles and equipment. Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This job requires the following: Working on a computer, sitting, or standing for long periods of time in an office or remote office setting. Employees must be capable of bending, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 35 lbs. unassisted; 50lbs in a team lift (two or more employees). This job requires attending meetings, both in person and virtually as well as speaking on the phone with government agency representatives, members of the public, and others. Speaking, hearing and listening are required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
