As a Building Services Technician at GRADD, you play a vital role in maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of agency facilities. Your work ensures that staff, partners, and community members experience a professional, welcoming, and well-maintained environment every day.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities Include</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Facility Cleaning &amp; Maintenance</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors</li>\n<li>Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures</li>\n<li>Restock restroom and facility supplies such as soap, paper towels, and tissue</li>\n<li>Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces throughout the building</li>\n<li>Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors, and walls</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Waste Management &amp; Grounds Maintenance</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collect and dispose of trash from offices, common areas, and outdoor receptacles</li>\n<li>Transport waste to designated disposal areas in a timely and safe manner</li>\n<li>Maintain exterior areas including walkways, entrances, and courtyards</li>\n<li>Remove debris, sweep outdoor areas, and clear cobwebs</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Building Operations &amp; Minor Repairs</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform routine minor maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, adjusting doors, and fixing minor plumbing issues</li>\n<li>Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance needs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or structural repairs</li>\n<li>Assist with preventative maintenance tasks to ensure building functionality</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety &amp; Security</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure buildings are secured at the end of the day, including locking doors and checking equipment</li>\n<li>Follow proper safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment</li>\n<li>Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Inventory &amp; Supply Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor inventory levels of cleaning and maintenance supplies</li>\n<li>Requisition and organizing supplies to ensure availability</li>\n<li>Maintain cleaning equipment in proper working condition</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education &amp; Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li>\n<li>Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or facility maintenance roles preferred</li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of building maintenance and cleaning procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills &amp; Strengths</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities</li>\n<li>Basic mechanical and problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures</li>\n<li>Reliability and strong work ethic</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods</li>\n<li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds</li>\n<li>Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in indoor and outdoor environments</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why This Role Matters</span></p>\n<p>This role ensures that GRADD facilities remain clean, safe, and operational, supporting staff productivity and creating a positive experience for those we serve.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why Join GRADD?</span></p>\n<p>At Green River Area Development District, you’ll be part of a mission-driven organization committed to improving quality of life across the region.
