Milton CAT is looking for a Parts and Sales Representative to join our Power Systems team. In this field-based role, you’ll help customers reduce operating costs and minimize downtime by promoting Caterpillar parts, preventative maintenance, and repair solutions. You’ll serve as the primary liaison between customers and Milton CAT, driving sales and building long-term relationships across your assigned territory.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Salary Range:</strong> Base range $55,000 – $65,000, plus bonus.  Company vehicle, computer and cell phone provided.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Benefits include: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Paid Time Off + 8 company paid holidays</li>\n <li>Medical, Dental and Vision insurance options for Employee and Family </li>\n <li>Disability & Life Insurance Packages</li>\n <li>Competitive Retirement Plan </li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement – available to FT employees with 1 year+ of service</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance program (EAP)</li>\n <li>Additional supplemental offerings and discount programs</li>\n <li>Employee Referral Program</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Build strong relationships with key decision-makers. </li>\n <li>Promote all Milton Cat product support offerings, including service agreements and upgrades. <strong> </strong></li>\n <li>Develop strategic account plans to grow territory sales </li>\n <li>Provide guidance on equipment maintenance and service options</li>\n <li>Maintain customer profile and competitor intelligence</li>\n <li>Meet targets for sales, profits, units, and close ratios</li>\n <li>Maintain CRM records and verify machine population annually.</li>\n <li>Support customers after hours when needed.</li>\n <li>Participate in business and trade events; maintain membership in trade organizations</li>\n <li>Sell and manage Customer Value Agreements (CVA) and Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSA)</li>\n <li>Manage and sell services including: \n  <ul>\n   <li>Fuel polishing</li>\n   <li>Transfer switch and generating testing</li>\n   <li>Load bank testing</li>\n   <li>Panel upgrades and replacements </li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p>This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma required; associate degree or trade certification preferred.  </li>\n <li>3–5 years of experience in generator or heavy-duty equipment support</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.  </li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and travel within territory including overnight stays</li>\n <li>Willingness to work after hours when needed to support customers</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Sales or territory management experience</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Caterpillar products</li>\n <li>Experience with diesel/gas engines or generator-related business</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Resumes that are mailed, emailed or hand-delivered to Milton CAT or any employee will not be considered.
