The team focuses on test automation and automated workflows, with a heavy emphasis on integrating testing into CI/CD release pipelines</p><p>As a Senior II Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:</p><ul><li class=\"lst\">Contributing towards building the roadmap for enterprise IP addressing and connectivity features</li><li class=\"lst\">Validating and testing cloud-native technologies and architectures, including monitoring, troubleshooting and improving test execution pipelines</li><li class=\"lst\">Participating in the definition and adoption of best practices, knowledge sharing</li><li class=\"lst\">Collaborating in an Agile environment to ensure high product quality</li><li class=\"lst\">Working in an environment that fosters innovative solutions, rapid development cycles, and open communication</li><li class=\"lst\">Working independently and with occasional mentoring of more junior SDETs</li></ul><p><b>Do what you love</b></p><p>To be successful in this role you will:</p><ul><li class=\"lst\">Have 7 years of experience in developing test automation solutions using widely accepted frameworks</li><li class=\"lst\">Have experience with Pytest, or other test automation and frameworks, leveraging Python or Bash for scripting</li><li class=\"lst\">Have experience working with, operating or testing highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable production services using cloud-native technologies</li><li class=\"lst\">Have experience leveraging CI/CD tools to achieve good software development practices like Jenkins, Perforce, Git and Docker.</li><li class=\"lst\">Be familiar using infrastructure as code tools like Ansible, Crossplane, Pulumi, Terraform</li><li class=\"lst\">Possess solid debugging and troubleshooting skills for resolving test-related issues in complex platforms</li><li class=\"lst\">Understand networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, IPv6, VLANs, DNS, TLS, HTTP, BGP) and knowledge of Linux-based operating systems</li></ul><p><b>Work in a way that works for you</b></p><p>FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
