This role involves collaboration with stakeholders, on-site assessments, and applying traffic engineering principles to design plans that prioritize safety, optimize traffic flow, and adhere to regulatory standards.  Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication roles are critical for this position. </span></span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What you will be responsible for:</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span><em><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Traffic Management Planning:</span></em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Draft site-specific traffic plans (Traffic Accommodation Plans, Traffic Accommodation Strategies, TMPs, and Category Documents) for clients in a fast-paced working environment.<br></li>\n<li>Design and follow Traffic Planning procedures when building plans.</li>\n<li>Produce, submit, and amend associated permits.</li>\n<li>Engage with key stakeholders and represent UG professionally on matters relating to Traffic Plans.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><em><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Project Management:</span></em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Manage and follow through on large scale projects efficiently.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assist the project team and wider business with city and municipality permit applications.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Proactively build and maintain contractor relationships.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Participate in meetings with stakeholders and subcontractors as needed.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><em><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Reporting and Data Management:</span></em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare data for internal and/or external reporting as needed as it related to Traffic Planning.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><em><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Support and Advise:</span></em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Provide traffic management advice and support to Operations.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>Performance Management:</em></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meet or exceed individual and department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What we need from you:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Previous traffic planning experience, with knowledge of Alberta, Saskatchewan, &amp; Manitoba regulations, is a huge asset</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Traffic control experience and a valid TCP Ticket issued by BCCSA is an asset.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge and understanding of Traffic Plans &amp; written Traffic Accommodation Strategies.</span> </span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Google Suite and other required computer applications. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience with Invarion/RapidPlan Software or AutoCAD is considered an asset. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Prior Traffic Management and/or customer service experience is preferred. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Good written and verbal communication skills. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong sense of resourcefulness and curiosity, learning new regions' regulations &amp;
