text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview</span></span></p>\n<p>Ava Health is seeking <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Clinical Interns (Master’s Level)</span> for practicum or internship placements in a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">mental health and substance use treatment setting</span>.</p>\n<p>This is a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">hands-on counseling internship</span> within a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">continuum of care (OP, IOP, PHP, Residential, Sub-Acute)</span> where interns gain experience in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">group therapy, individual counseling, and multidisciplinary treatment</span>.</p>\n<p>Ideal for students pursuing careers in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage &amp; Family Therapy</span>.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Co-facilitate and lead <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">group therapy sessions</span> (IOP &amp; PHP)</li>\n<li>Provide <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">individual counseling sessions</span> (as appropriate)</li>\n<li>Participate in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">treatment team meetings and case consultation</span></li>\n<li>Collaborate with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">therapists, case managers, and medical staff</span></li>\n<li>Assist with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">treatment planning, progress notes, and documentation</span></li>\n<li>Support clients with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">coping skills, emotional regulation, and recovery</span></li>\n<li>Participate in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CBT, DBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing-based programming</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Learning Opportunities</span></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">behavioral health continuum of care</span></li>\n<li>Develop skills in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">group therapy facilitation and individual counseling</span></li>\n<li>Training in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT, MI)</span></li>\n<li>Exposure to <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">mental health and substance use treatment populations</span></li>\n<li>Learn <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">clinical documentation, treatment planning, and case conceptualization</span></li>\n<li>Work in a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">multidisciplinary team environment</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span><br></span></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Currently enrolled in a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Master’s degree program</span> (Counseling, Social Work, MFT, or related field)</li>\n<li>Eligible for <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Practicum or Internship placement</span></li>\n<li>Working toward licensure (<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.</span>)</li>\n<li>Interest in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">mental health counseling, substance use treatment, or behavioral health</span></li>\n<li>Strong communication skills and willingness to learn</li>\n<li>Interest in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">group therapy and clinical skill development</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span><br></span></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;
