This role offers a chance to <strong>support public sector funding transparency and accountability through a modern Workday Financials platform</strong>. With minimal travel and a highly collaborative team, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute deep functional expertise while maintaining flexibility.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You’ll join a project that is in its <strong>early design phase</strong>, giving you meaningful influence over solution architecture and long-term outcomes. The work directly supports a mission-driven organization focused on serving communities through responsible public funding and operational excellence.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The work is primarily remote, with less than 30% to the Pacific Northwest. Per our client contract, candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card Holders. </p>\n<h2> Responsibilities </h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the <strong>Grants functional workstream</strong> for a full Workday Financials implementation </li>\n <li>Partner with finance and grants stakeholders to design and configure grant accounting, compliance, billing, and reporting processes </li>\n <li>Translate public sector grants requirements into scalable Workday solutions </li>\n <li>Collaborate with Procurement, Spend, Payroll, and Integration teams to ensure end-to-end alignment </li>\n <li>Support testing, data validation, and go-live readiness </li>\n <li>Serve as the subject matter expert for grants functionality throughout the project lifecycle</li>\n</ul>\n<h2> Qualifications </h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Hands-on experience implementing Workday Financials with a focus on Grants</li>\n <li>Solid understanding of public sector or government grant management requirements</li>\n <li>Strong functional leadership and the ability to guide design decisions</li>\n <li>Comfortable working in a mostly virtual environment with limited travel (under 30%)</li>\n <li>Ability to contribute strategically while also engaging in hands-on configuration work</li>\n <li>Per our client contract, candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card Holders</li>\n</ul>\n<h2> </h2>\n<p><em><strong>4 Reasons to Join The Squires Group, Inc.:</strong> </em><em>1.
