We are currently seeking a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Facilities Manager</span> to contribute to our mission in a dynamic startup environment. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and functions of buildings where we develop, test, and operate our lunar rovers and other space vehicles. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our teams have effective, clean, and safe environments from which to work, contributing to both hands-on and planning activities.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(72, 65, 63)\">Take the #NextLeap with Lunar Outpost and work on the Pegasus LTV, which will carry NASA astronauts farther than they've ever been before on the lunar surface!  </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor day-to-day activities, ensuring Lunar Outpost properties are fully operational, including performing routine maintenance, inspection, and repairs as needed, as well as setting up equipment and furniture</li>\n<li>Act as the point of contact for facility works, both for internal and external stakeholders and vendors</li>\n<li>Help plan and execute facility and facility operation improvements, including managing the budget and schedule</li>\n<li>Contribute to the buildout of Lunar Outpost’s new headquarters</li>\n<li>Manage cleaning and organization of facilities and machinery</li>\n<li>Work with the IT and Security team to ensure that personnel, buildings, and equipment are secure</li>\n<li>Work with the Safety team to ensure the work environment and practices are safe</li>\n<li>Fill in for overlapping areas when needed, such as inventory management and shipping with the Operations Manager, supplies and refreshments stocking with the EA/Office Manager </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Degree or equivalent</li>\n<li>3+ Years Experience in Facilities or Company Operations role</li>\n<li>Previous experience interfacing with landlords and contractors, such as electricians and plumbers</li>\n<li>Proficient with hand tools and heavy machinery</li>\n<li>Ability to stand and move for up to 8 hours and lift/carry 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.<br></li>\n<li>Adaptable, able to change to varying circumstances and able to learn new skills</li>\n<li>Self-starter with the initiative to fix issues, make improvements, and meet deadlines</li>\n<li>Self-motivated, focused, and driven to meet critical deadlines</li>\n<li>Excellent organization and time management skills</li>\n<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills</li>\n<li>U.S. Person</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in related field</li>\n<li>Certification in Project Management</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensation &amp; Benefits: </span><span style=\"font-style: italic\">Compensation level and base salary are competitively structured and thoughtfully determined based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, and the scope of the role.</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter; font-size: 12.0pt; font-style: italic\">Comprehensive health coverage: Medical, dental, and vision benefits, with 70% of premiums covered by the employer</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter; font-size: 12.0pt; font-style: italic\">Paid time off: Three (3) weeks per year of vacation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter; font-size: 12.0pt; font-style: italic\">Retirement plan: Up to 4% employer match on 401(k) contributions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter; font-size: 12.0pt; font-style: italic\">Paid holidays: 11 company-recognized holidays</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter; font-size: 12.0pt; font-style: italic\">Parental leave</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter; font-size: 12.0pt; font-style: italic\">Educational reimbursement opportunities to support company objectives, continued learning, and career development</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: italic; font-weight: bold\">Lunar Outpost Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. Lunar Outpost Inc. does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity), national origin, ethnicity, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
