(dependent on experience)</p>\n<p>Weekly pay and overtime opportunity</p>Excellent Benefits - a 401K retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick leave! \n<p>This is an entry level position responsible for the operation of the grain elevator as it pertains to loading, unloading and transferring grain and grain products in an efficient, safe and sanitary manner.  Also assists or leads in all other aspects of grain handling, storage, maintaining facilities/equipment and elevator operations.  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for operating the PLC and necessary equipment for operating the grain elevator.</li>\n <li>Responsible for the proper and accurate weighing and sampling of all inbound grain and grain products as well as all outbound grain and grain products. </li>\n <li>Assist in the housekeeping as related, but not limited to, the cleanliness and orderliness of the grain handling area (tunnels, head house, concrete grounds, grass areas, flag pole etc), as well as any areas within the plant or office as delegated by position supervisor.</li>\n <li>Responsible for the proper calibration of all grain testing equipment, conducting cross checks for grain testing equipment and weighing equipment (including truck scales) and proper documentation of such.</li>\n <li>Conduct applicable toxin testing on all inbound and/or outbound grain, package samples for shipment/storage and properly ship grain samples to appropriate lab as required. </li>\n <li>Responsible for proper operations of all grain weighing equipment, software and systems.</li>\n <li>Responsible for properly and accurately recording all applicable documentation and reporting any errors or irregularities.</li>\n <li>Responsible for developing product knowledge and how to handle any hazardous properties of products.</li>\n <li>Must be aware of and follow all applicable safety and environmental regulations with respect to the product you are handling.</li>\n <li>Compliance with all the Company’s safety programs and policies.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.</li>\n <li>One (1) year of grain industry experience is preferred. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to work in a safety conscious environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a quality-controlled environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Requirments</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Regularly walk, bend and stoop.</li>\n <li>Regularly required to walk on catwalks at a variety of heights; up to 200 feet with appropriate safety equipment.</li>\n <li>Regularly climbs stairs and ladders.</li>\n <li>Regularly lifts up to 75 pounds.</li>\n <li>Regularly enters and works in confined spaces.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation Min</h2>USD $15.00/Hr.\n<h2>Compensation Max</h2>USD $16.00/Hr.",
