    "requisitionDescription": "<p id=\"isPasted\">Monday through&nbsp;Friday 6pm -2am</p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p>We are seeking an <strong>Experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP)</strong> or <strong>Physician Assistant (PA)</strong> to join our dynamic <strong>Hospitalist Team</strong>. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to hospitalized patients across various specialties. You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, assisting with the management of acute and chronic medical conditions, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care throughout their hospital stay.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Perform comprehensive physical examinations and take medical histories of hospitalized patients.</li><li>Collaborate with attending physicians, specialists, and hospital staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.</li><li>Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and ensure continuity of care from admission to discharge.</li><li>Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and laboratory results.</li><li>Provide ongoing assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including but not limited to respiratory infections, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and post-surgical complications.</li><li>Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records (EHR) in a timely manner.</li><li>Provide patient and family education on medical conditions, treatments, and care plans.</li><li>Respond to medical emergencies, including performing necessary interventions and managing acute situations.</li><li>Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and smooth transitions of care.</li><li>Participate in hospital rounds, case discussions, and care planning meetings.</li><li>Assist in discharge planning and provide patients with appropriate post-discharge care instructions.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)</strong> or <strong>Physician Assistant (PA)</strong> with an active, unrestricted license.</li><li><strong>Minimum of 3 years</strong> of clinical experience as a hospitalist or in an inpatient care setting.</li><li>Proficiency in performing physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, and interpreting medical data.</li><li>Strong understanding of hospital operations, policies, and multidisciplinary team dynamics.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams.</li></ul><p>Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining a professional demeanor.</p>\n",
