This position requires certification as a staff I &amp; E Technician</p><p>pursuant to company procedures, policies and industry best practices. Duties will include, but are not limited to, maintain and troubleshoot oil and gas onshore and</p><p>offshore I&amp;E equipment, work with the Lead Operators to maintain production, and provide assistance in all maintenance programs.</p><p>GENERAL DESCRIPTION:</p><p> Perform electrical maintenance and repair of facilities</p><p> Test and calibrate of instruments and sensors, as needed</p><p> Incorporate study courses to help in the certification process and to maintain currency</p><p> Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair AC/DC motors, drives, transformers, switchgear, discrete/analog instruments and PLCs</p><p> Proficiently use test instruments such as a voltmeter, ammeter, megohm meter and hart communicator</p><p> Interpret and work from electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and NEC code specifications</p><p> Layout, bend and run conduit</p><p> Install, repair and/or replace electrical wiring, receptacles, switchbox, feeders, coaxial cable lighting fixtures and components.</p><p> Size and install wire/cable, conduit, panels, junction boxes, and protective devices based on the nec.</p><p> Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain records</p><p> Have knowledge of lockout/tagout/EIL policies and procedures</p><p> Have training in low and high voltage equipment</p><p> Have ability to lay out projects, order materials and be successful in completion and startup</p><p> Have proficiency in industrial control logic (ladder logic)</p><p>PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p><p> Must be qualified under applicable regulations and required fit testing</p><p> Required to wear personal protective equipment which may include self-contained breathing apparatus</p><p> Prolonged periods of standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, and crawling</p><p> Work on an offshore oil platform in close quarters &ndash; maintain satisfactory hygiene to work and live with others onboard</p><p> Lift, lower, push, and pull equipment and tools</p><p> Work in confined/restricted working environment</p><p> Work at elevated heights, in enclosed spaces and on uneven walk surfaces</p><p> Climb ladders, stairs, and ramps</p><p> Operate rotating equipment and machinery safely to maintain production processes</p><p> Operate power, pneumatic hand tools</p><p> Ability to work varying (day and night) shifts, additional hours and/or overtime depending operation service needs</p><p> Have a sufficient ability to communicate, through sight, hearing, and/or otherwise, to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions</p><p> Concentrate and focus to monitor and observe for safety and environmental issues, including, for example, hazardous gas leaks and oil spills</p><p> Analyze and respond promptly to safety and environmental issues in a sound and timely manner</p><p> Physically fit to perform physical assessment</p><p> Obtain and maintain Swing Rope Certification</p><p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</p><p> High School diploma or equivalent</p><p> 5 to 10+ years of previous, relevant experience in electrical systems and motor driven equipment</p><p> Relevant experience with mechanical equipment</p><p> Physically fit to perform physical assessment</p><p><br></p></div></div></div>\n",
