The successful applicant will be joining a diverse engineering group in Central Canada poised for growth and challenging opportunities well into the future.<br><br><strong>What a day at EXP has in store for you</strong></p><ul><li class=\"pf0\">Reports to the Mechanical/Electrical Manager or Project Manager with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision on projects from start to completion.</li><li class=\"pf0\">Contributes to preparation of project proposals and other business development efforts.</li><li class=\"pf0\">Able to lead and mentor design staff on all aspects of their work.</li><li class=\"pf0\">Responsible for meeting EXP’s engineering quality standards on assigned projects.</li><li class=\"pf0\">Oversees development of design concepts and ensures proper application and execution.</li><li class=\"pf0\">Reviews designer’s work regarding specifications, reports, code application, submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables, and drawings.</li><li class=\"pf0\">Responsible for applying EXP’s risk management practices to all projects.</li><li class=\"pf0\">Leads the design team to produce schematic design, design development, tender and construction documents that meet the project requirements within the allocated schedule and budget.</li><li class=\"pf0\">Prepares, studies and reports on electrical system project work.</li><li class=\"pf0\">Executes complex electrical designs with conflicting design requirements or difficult coordination.</li><li class=\"pf0\">Contributes to revisions of company design standards and master specifications.</li><li class=\"pf0\">Evaluates value engineering (cost saving) items with respect to the associated risk.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What your experience looks like</strong></p><ul><li class=\"pf0\">The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in the Electrical Engineering field, with a preferred focus in building consulting engineering.</li><li class=\"pf0\">Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree.</li><li class=\"pf0\">Registered Professional Engineer is required.</li><li class=\"pf0\">Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) products and electrical design software.</li><li class=\"pf0\">AutoCAD experience required and REVIT MEP proficiency desired.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization.</p><div>&nbsp;</div><p>The salary range for this role is between&nbsp;$75K - $119.5K.
