    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Background Information:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>Background Information: </em></strong></p>\n<p>At RT&T, we provide cutting edge technical services in support of Department of War (DoW) aircraft and weapons system testing. This full-time Configuration Management Analyst supports the Tactical Training Ranges (TTR) program at NAS Patuxent River. This position requires a strong background in technical documentation and configuration management. Join us in a rewarding technical environment at the forefront of naval test and evaluation (T&E)!</p>\n<p><strong><em> </em></strong></p>\n<p><strong><em>Duties and Responsibilities:</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Document the configuration of legacy and developmental airborne, ground, and test equipment.</li>\n <li>Research requirements, determine logistics impacts, verify engineering data, and write engineering change proposals (ECPs).</li>\n <li>Prepare change control board requests and associated technical directives.</li>\n <li>Develop installation procedures for new aircraft and provide technical data to platform facilitators to be used in updating Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) and Naval Aviation Technical Information Product (NATIP) manuals.</li>\n <li>Coordinate comprehensive reviews of all technical documents by key program personnel and assist the PMA in the processing of all necessary documents through the NAVAIR ECM website for approval and signature by PMA leadership.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with engineering teams, logistics personnel, and program managers to ensure technical directives and engineering changes are implemented effectively.</li>\n <li>Maintain close communication with stakeholders to address evolving processes and requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em> </em></strong></p>\n<p><strong><em>Note: This job description describes the general nature of the duties and requirements of the job.</em></strong></p>\n<p><strong><em>It is not intended to be an exhaustive list or to limit the supervisor's ability to modify work assignments as appropriate.</em></strong></p>\n<p><strong><em>Educational, Experience, and Skill Requirements:</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BS/BA Degree in business, engineering, scientific, or mathematics from an accredited college or university</li>\n <li>A minimum of 3 years of experience performing the stated or similar function</li>\n <li>In lieu of a BS/BA Degree, a High School diploma or equivalent GED and a total of 9 years of work experience performing the stated function</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of airborne systems, configuration management principles, and technical documentation standards.</li>\n <li>Ability to coordinate with diverse teams, including DoD programs, engineering personnel, and leadership, to ensure seamless execution of responsibilities</li>\n <li>Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving configuration management processes and tools</li>\n <li>Configuration Management Certification (e.g., CMII or equivalent) preferred</li>\n <li>Prior US Navy or military aviation experience desired</li>\n <li>Must possess a valid driver’s license and successfully pass drug screening</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>Clearance Requirements:</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Security clearance eligibility may be discussed during the interview phase.</li>\n <li>Employment and start date is contingent upon the candidate receiving the required US DoD issued interim security clearance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em> </em></strong></p>\n<p><strong><em>Work Conditions:</em></strong></p>\n<p>Most work is performed in enclosed buildings at a desk or in data processing environments. Work will include sitting, standing, walking, lifting and reaching. Special vision abilities to perform this job are close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus. Some travel and/or overtime may be required.
