The team consists of environmental technicians, project coordinators, project managers, technical experts, and qualified professionals. We have been providing contaminated site program management services to the worlds most technically focused companies for over 15 years. We consistently have backlog of 9 to 12 months and provide growth opportunities for our high performing team members. We specialize in health and safety, Phase I/II ESAs, risk assessment and remediation. Our team takes on the biggest Canadian projects from coast to coast to coast.&nbsp;The projects range in type, size and complexity, and the successful candidate will be able to utilize the team strengths to manage a large amount of field work efficiently and effectively. &nbsp;</p><p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Our dynamic team is growing, and we have a new opportunity for an Environmental Project Director with 15+ years of experience to work in a multi-disciplinary team that solves complex issues for our clients. This role will include providing technical support for a team of junior and intermediate project managers and technical staff and oversee client’s’ technical deliveries. &nbsp;You should enjoy being part of a close-knit team and appreciate the benefits that a large organization can bring, including access to vast technical expertise and being able to participate in employee resource groups, and more.&nbsp;</span></p><hr><p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Review deliverables, including, but not limited to, Phase 1 and Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments; Detailed Site Investigations; regulatory forms and submission documents; and other technical reporting such as background determinations, water use determinations, and screening level risk assessments.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Provide mentorship to Junior and Intermediate project managers, report authors and field staff.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Support Project Managers with technical presentations and communications with clients and regulators, as required.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Support leadership with client management and steward client objectives with the team.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Support leadership with Requests for Proposals, as required.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Complete Site visits to support our junior staff in the field.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Be a strong health and safety advocate and lead by example in the field and office.</span></li></ul><hr><p><span><strong>The Skills That Set You Apart</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">A bachelor's degree in engineering, geoscience, or other relevant discipline.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">15+ years of experience providing Technical Direction of contaminated sites.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Eligible or immediately eligible to register as a Professional.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Strong and thorough understanding of the Contaminated Sites and interest in permafrost.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">A pleasant and approachable demeanor with WSP colleagues and clients.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Strong mentoring abilities and a drive to help our junior and intermediate colleagues reach their potential.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">A commitment to helping foster an inclusive team dynamic.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Good communication skills (listening, speaking, and writing).</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Good problem-solving skills with the initiative and ability to identify alternative solutions.</span></li><li><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Advanced skills (Microsoft application Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and PowerBI and Oracle).</span></li></ul><hr><p><strong>Why Choose WSP?</strong></p><p>We exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
