The Head Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing a preschool curriculum, directing the assistant classroom teacher, fostering positive relationships with families, and ensuring a safe and welcoming learning environment.  The position is to teach two classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-3:00 p.m.  These classes are the same age children with different students in each class.<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Create a positive and engaging classroom environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Supervise and mentor the assistant teacher.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Monitor and assess children's developmental progress.  This includes knowledge testing and parent-teacher conferences two times a year.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and center policies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Promote children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Collaborate with administration and fellow staff members to support program goals.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Teach the gospel of Jesus Christ through Bible learning, music, and prayer.<br><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Minimum of 2 years of preschool teaching experience preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Strong classroom management and leadership skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Organizational skills in lesson planning and implementing.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Passion for working with young children and supporting their growth.<br><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">For information on salary or questions about the position, email [email protected]</span></p>",
