We are seeking professionals who are committed to supporting different ways of learning, are motivated and engaged, and have a love of children. Due to scheduling needs, we are prioritizing candidates with open availability during instructional hours (8:15am - 3:15pm, Monday through Friday).</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">POSITION DETAILS</span></span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>POSITION: Substitute Teacher<br></li>\n<li>AVAILABLE: Immediately<br></li>\n<li>REPORTS TO: Assistant Principal</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SALARY</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>$166 - Current in-state professional licensure<br></li>\n<li>$146 - Out of state or expired professional licensure<br></li>\n<li>$136 - Non-licensure<br></li>\n<li>Full Day = 8 hours (Full Rate)<br></li>\n<li>Half Day = 4 hours (½ Daily Rate)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent and Effective Teacher Training course <br></li>\n<li>Experience in a classroom setting<br></li>\n<li>Leadership and team collaboration skills<br></li>\n<li>Dependability<br></li>\n<li>Open availability, last minute scheduling</li>\n<li>Possession of a valid TB test and health examination issued by the local county board of health or recognized medical authority</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JOB DETAILS</span></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain rules of classroom behavior and procedure; maintain order and safety in the classroom. <br></li>\n<li>Must use classroom instructional time wisely.<br></li>\n<li>Must be able to teach subject areas, follow lesson plans and  provide instructional activities for students.<br></li>\n<li>Ability to constantly monitor the safety and well-being of students. <br></li>\n<li>Carry out non-instructional duties as required or assigned. Perform related duties and responsibilities as required by the Principal.<br></li>\n<li>Assist students as needed with classwork assignments.<br></li>\n<li>Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; ability to communicate well with school personnel, students, and parents. <br></li>\n<li>Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and accomplish specific tasks as requested.<br></li>\n<li>Ability to perform clerical duties.<br></li>\n<li>Leave notes for the teacher at the end of the teaching day.<br></li>\n<li>Keep records on attendance, accidents and incidents.<br></li>\n<li>Physical ability (able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally) and dexterity to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job.</li>\n</ul>",
