Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0px;\"><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">The <strong>Entry Level Construction Services Field Technician</strong> is responsible for performing a variety of testing, project specific observations and site assessment duties under general supervision and/or from detailed controlled procedures.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0px;\"><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits Information:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left: 0px;\"><strong>The base wage or salary range for this position is $25 - $28/hour. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">In addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0px;\"><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (example: Soil, concrete or other) and provide assessment of data through reporting</li><li>Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams</li><li>Use specific methods and perform tasks to make detailed observations of site activities and give limited interpretation of results</li><li>Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results</li><li>Communicate effectively with client and project teams</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0px;\"><strong>Minimum Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record</li><li>Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance</li><li>Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound</li><li>Ability to kneel and squat occasionally and be able to walk/stand for long periods of time</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures</li><li>Ability to climb occasionally, and work at various heights</li><li>Ability to work over night hours and off shift</li><li>Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0px;\"><strong>Preferred Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Some Construction Materials Testing experience</li><li>ACI certification or other construction related certifications</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0px;\"><strong>Total Quality.
