Conforms to dealership and/or manufacturer specifications and time allowances.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></div><div><ul><li>Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows and wipes down door jambs.</li><li>Vacuums interiors of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.</li><li>Cleans upholstery, rugs and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devices.</li><li>Applies revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabric with spot and stain-resistant chemicals.</li><li>Applies special purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer&#39;s recommendations.</li><li>Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.</li><li>Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery and poor mechanical operation.</li><li>Restores appearance of engine area, rugs, upholstery and painted surfaces. Uses touch-up paint, dyes and other appropriate materials.</li><li>Uses proper eye, hand and body protection when using products that require protection.</li><li>Applies dressing on tires and tire wells.</li><li>Keeps work area neat and clean.</li><li>Reports any safety issues immediately to management.</li><li>Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.</li><li>Follows the dress code the company has put in place. Maintains a clean and neat work area.</li><li>Follows federal, state and local law as well as company policy about safeguarding all information.</li><li>Reports on time to work and follows schedule that is given. Calls supervisor if he/she cannot be at work on time.</li><li>Keeps current with annual HR training along with any other training that might be required for this position.</li><li>Follows all company policies and procedures. Notifies supervisor of any illegal activity.</li><li>The individual must maintain an acceptable driving record according to our insurance standards at all times.</li><li>No employee or applicant should be under the influence of any substance including medical marijuana on-site or during work hours.
