Our worldwide professionals bring their expertise and a commitment to serve to every engagement, partnering with our clients to develop creative solutions for their most pressing challenges.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced MSSQL Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize our organization's Microsoft SQL Server databases. The ideal candidate will ensure the performance, availability, and security of critical database systems, supporting various applications and business operations 24/7/365. This role requires a proactive individual with an understanding of database architecture, best practices, and troubleshooting. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Database Installation & Configuration:</strong> Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server instances (all versions) across various environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod).</li>\n <li><strong>Performance Tuning & Optimization:</strong> Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for query optimization, indexing strategies, and database configuration to ensure optimal performance.</li>\n <li><strong>Backup & Recovery:</strong> Design, implement, and maintain robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability, including disaster recovery planning and execution.</li>\n <li><strong>Security Management:</strong> Manage database security, including user permissions, roles, authentication, and encryption, adhering to security policies and compliance requirements.</li>\n <li><strong>High Availability & Disaster Recovery:</strong> Implement and manage high availability solutions such as AlwaysOn Availability Groups.</li>\n <li><strong>Troubleshooting & Support:</strong> Provide expert-level troubleshooting for database-related issues, including connectivity, performance, and data corruption, offering timely resolution.</li>\n <li><strong>Monitoring & Alerting:</strong> Implement and maintain database monitoring tools and alerts to proactively identify and address potential issues.</li>\n <li><strong>Capacity Planning:</strong> Monitor database growth and resource utilization, performing capacity planning to ensure scalability and future needs are met.</li>\n <li><strong>Data Integrity & Corruption Checks:</strong> Implement and regularly perform data integrity checks to detect and resolve database corruption, ensuring data consistency and reliability.</li>\n <li><strong>Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): </strong>Develop, maintain, and regularly update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all database administration tasks and processes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with development teams to optimize database designs and SQL queries for new applications and features.</li>\n <li>Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and holiday support of critical production systems.</li>\n <li>Stay current with the latest SQL Server technologies, features, and industry best practices.</li>\n <li>Develop, refine, and maintain SQL scripts for automation of routine DBA tasks.</li>\n <li>Support multiple concurrent projects, managing priorities and deadlines effectively.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with other teams during incident calls to diagnose and resolve database-related issues.</li>\n <li>Manage and prioritize database-related tickets through a formal ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Bonus Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS</li>\n <li>Experience with transactional replication</li>\n <li>Experience with Powershell</li>\n <li>Experience with version control (ie: Github)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor degree required or equivalent experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Experience Requirements:   </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Working experience with MS Office tools (such as Outlook, MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)</li>\n <li>2-5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role</li>\n <li>2-5 years of experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)</li>\n <li>2-5 years of TSQL experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Other Requirements:   </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong> </strong>MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications a plus</li>\n <li>MS SQL Server certifications and/or experience writing advanced T-SQL queries</li>\n <li>Experience working with/supporting other eDiscovery applications</li>\n <li>Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success</li>\n <li>Critical thinker and problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Team player</li>\n <li>Great time-management skills</li>\n <li>Great interpersonal and communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Shifts Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Rotational Shifts</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Mode:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Hybrid Working Mode - 3 days' work from office every week.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bangalore/ Pune</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Consilio’s True North Values</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Client Experience </strong>| Listen for the “why”.
