In this role, you&#39;ll lead a customer-focused, high-performing team dedicated to revolutionizing the shopping experience through exceptional service, merchandising excellence, and a fun, interactive environment. If you&rsquo;re ready to take your retail career to the next level &mdash; and have a blast doing it &mdash; we&rsquo;d love to have you on board!</p><p><strong><u>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Serve in a supervisory capacity, including opening and closing the store.</li><li>Lead by example, ensuring your team consistently delivers exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations.</li><li>Train and develop team members on selling techniques and promote a culture of continuous improvement.</li><li>Increase sales through product knowledge communication and by sharing enthusiasm with both team and customers.</li><li>Analyze store performance and implement strategic action plans to drive results and maintain accountability.</li><li>Identify challenges and opportunities, providing viable solutions that support operational success.</li><li>Maintain an engaging visual merchandising presentation consistent with brand standards.</li><li>Ensure employee compliance with all company policies and procedures.</li><li>Lead and participate in in-store events, product knowledge clinics, and community outreach.</li><li>Represent and promote the Sun &amp; Ski Sports brand within the local community.</li><li>Communicate regularly with the General Manager, District Manager, and Home Office to stay aligned with company goals.</li><li>Assist in managing store expenses and payroll, including planning, delegation, and adapting to evolving business needs.</li><li>Support Loss Prevention initiatives, minimizing inventory loss and ensuring accurate cash control.</li></ul><p><strong><u>REQUIREMENTS</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>1+ years of management experience, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop others.</li><li>Knowledge of retail operations, including shrink reduction and inventory control practices.</li><li>Strong skills in recruiting, interviewing, training, and team development.</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with a talent for building relationships with vendors, buyers, teammates, and leadership.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a sharp attention to detail.</li></ul><p>INDRET</p><p><strong>Note</strong></p><p>This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) in this position.
