We have a state of the art facility but it is our employees that separate us from our competition.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>CNC Programmer Position Summary</strong></p>\n<p>Currently we are looking for a CNC Programmer to join our CNC Milling department. The CNC Programmer will create and implement high quality CNC programs for milling and turning operations.  Programs must be proven and ready to run before set-up starts.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Hours are Monday - Thursday, 5:00 am - 3:00 pm, optional overtime on Fridays</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>CNC Programmer Essential Job Functions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Create and implement CNC programs using GibbsCAM software</li>\n <li>Select cutting tools, tool arrangement, and cutting speeds and feeds</li>\n <li>Conduct complete tooling design reviews to simplify tooling methods, reduce design, manufacture and operating time and cost, or utilize new raw materials for tooling applications.</li>\n <li>Supervise the process validation portion of new program prove outs.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with the manufacturing engineers, plant personnel and individuals outside the company</li>\n <li>Assist in the training of operators on new CNC equipment and programs</li>\n <li>Assist in the design of jigs, tools, fixtures and special equipment for CNC applications</li>\n <li>Produce preliminary setup documentation, and corresponding prints suitable for CNC setup and production of all necessary work holding, fixtures and tooling</li>\n <li>Maintain all electronic files associated with production of a new or existing part, (CAM source files, verification fillies, drawings and engineering files).</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>CNC Programmer Minimum Requirement & Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Four years programming experience in a production environment, job shop</li>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Two year technical degree preferred</li>\n <li>Must have experience with multi axis turning and milling machines</li>\n <li>Possess programming experience with at least one CAM software</li>\n <li>Manipulate CAD/CAM files and models of mutliple formats</li>\n <li>Must be able to replicate components of the machining environment for program verification and production purposes</li>\n <li>Experience with GibbsCAM a plus but not required</li>\n <li>Strong trigonometry and math background</li>\n <li>Knowledge of cutting tool geometry and speeds and feeds for the material being machined</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of GD & T</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>rms Company Benefits </strong></p>\n<p>As a Cretex Medical company, rms offers a full benefit package to its employees.
