Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#efire</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<em>:</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead foreman for crew</li>\n <li>Select type and size of pipe and related materials according to job plans and specifications.</li>\n <li>Inspect work sites to determine presence of obstructions.</li>\n <li>Plan sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers.</li>\n <li>Cut pipe, using hacksaw, pipe cutters, hammer and chisel, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machine.</li>\n <li>Thread pipe, using threading machine.</li>\n <li>Bend pipe by hand or with pipe-bending machine.</li>\n <li>Assemble and install variety of metal and non-metal pipe and pipe fittings, including those made of brass, copper, and plastic.</li>\n <li>Join piping by means of threaded, grooved, or cemented joints.</li>\n <li>Secure pipes to structure with clamps, brackets, and hangers, using hand tools.</li>\n <li>Test piping system for leaks by increasing pressure in pipes and observing gauges attached to pipes for indication of leaks.</li>\n <li>Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.</li>\n <li>Make decisions based on measurable criteria.</li>\n <li>Visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings.</li>\n <li>Lift and carry objects of varying weights</li>\n <li>Detect, recognize and respond to dangerous conditions or situations.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Successful candidates will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or general education degree GED.</li>\n <li>Prior supervisory experience is a plus, but not required.</li>\n <li>Ability to use power tools and equipment commonly used in the construction trade in a safe manner.</li>\n <li>Physical activities including standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders, walking and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. are required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
